Sadly, Netflix won’t be getting Heartstopper season 2 in January 2023. The wildly popular coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama, which debuted in April 2022, won’t be returning to our screens at any point in January. But given that season 2’s production has only recently ended, we’re not too shocked.
The viral LGBTQ+ adolescent drama centers on Charlie and Nick, two teenagers who learn that their unexpected bond might be more than just a friendship.

Heartstopper season 2’s filming was, as previously said, officially completed in early December. In a picture to officially announce the good news, series creator Alice Oseman was joined by actors Kit Connor and Joe Locke. The show’s Instagram account also posted a picture of the three holding a film slate with the caption, “And that’s a wrap for Heartstopper Season 2… Soon, I hope!
When might we expect new episodes to debut on the massive streaming service now that season 2’s production is complete?
Unfortunately, there is still no confirmed release date for Heartstopper season 2 on Netflix as of the end of December 2022. As a result, we are currently limited to making conjectural predictions about the release’s likely timing.
